SELLE ITALIA IRON EVO SOFT T1316
IRON EVO: the triathlon saddle, evolved
Designed for the needs of the most demanding triathletes
Selle Italia embodies the spirit of triathlon: passion, innovation and performance. Its new Iron Evo triathlon saddle, developed with the input and expertise of Team BMC-Vifit Triathlon and Patrick Lange, two-time world champion and Kona record holder, sets a new standard of performance in the evolution of triathlon equipment.
The Iron Evo, offered in two rail assemblies – Kit Carbonio (240 grams) or TI316 (245 grams) – has a sleek, compact shape that’s designed to maximize power transfer in all riding positions. There are two choices of double density padding, Hard and Soft, both of which are covered with an outer “gripping” Fibra-Tek layer to hold the rider securely in place. The nose, wide and padded, provides leverage for pedaling in the most aggressive aerodynamic position, and the Superflow center cut-out alleviates pressure on the perineal area, adding to the saddle’s all-day comfort.
Aesthetically, the Iron Evo also delivers. The black Fibra-Tek cover is accentuated with a matte logo, red Ironman highlights, and a reflective orange fluorescent insert on the back of the saddle that ensures visibility on the road.
