BLUMMENFELT WINS CLASH DAYTONA TRIATHLON!

MONDAY, DECEMBER 6, 2021 Giant-sponsored triathlete Kristian Blummenfelt wrapped up his historic season with another big win at the inaugural CLASH Daytona, a middle-distance event at Daytona Speedway in Florida. The Olympic champion came from behind on the 21.1-mile run, chasing down Magnus Ditlev of Denmark to add one final victory to what many are calling the most accomplished triathlon season ever. In addition to his gold medal at the Tokyo Summer Games in July, Blummenfelt also won the WTS World Championship this year. BLUMMENFELT SMASHES IRONMAN WORLD RECORD!

MONDAY, NOVEMBER 22, 2021 Kristian Blummenfelt lit up the triathlon world once again, topping his Olympic gold medal in Tokyo earlier this year with a win and record-breaking time in his first-ever attempt at a full Ironman distance. The Giant-sponsored triathlete won Ironman Cozumel with a time of 7:21:12, shattering the previous fastest time for a full-distance event. After winning gold in Tokyo in July, Blummenfelt set his sights on racing his first Ironman distance event. Until this year, the Norwegian had focused on sprint and Olympic distance events.
