02 NOVEMBER 2020 Road.cc reviewed the Fleet SLR, claiming the new road saddle from Giant is “comfortable, supportive and priced well against its competitors.” Editors gave it a near perfect 4.5-star ranking (out of 5). 25 OCTOBER 2020 Colombian Leonardo Páez defended his title at the UCI Mountain Bike Marathon World Championship race in Sakarya, Turkey, winning the elite men’s race for the second year in a row to earn the gold medal. Páez, a 38-year-old who rides for the Team Giant-Liv Polimedical team that’s based in Italy, rode his XtC Advanced SL 29 hardtail to the victory on a fast, wide-open 110km course. 05 OCTOBER 2020 Giant-sponsored triathlete Tim Van Berkel finished a strong second at the Ironman Cairns event in Australia, securing his spot for the 2021 Ironman World Championships in Hawaii. With most of the triathlon world on pandemic lockdown for the better part of the 2020 season, the Ironman Cairns event was a main focus for top pros in the Asia Pacific region.
