VAN BERKEL SCORES PODIUM AT IRONMAN CAIRNS!

MONDAY, JUNE 7, 2021 Giant-sponsored triathlete Tim Van Berkel kept his podium streak alive at Ironman Cairns, finishing second at the Australian event, which also serves as the Asia-Pacific Championships, for the third year in a row. The 36-year-old Aussie has been a mainstay at the front of the pack over Ironman Cairns’s decade-long history. He won the event in 2016 and has six podium performances over the years. VAN BERKEL LANDS PODIUM AT IRONMAN CAIRNS

05 OCTOBER 2020 Giant-sponsored triathlete Tim Van Berkel finished a strong second at the Ironman Cairns event in Australia, securing his spot for the 2021 Ironman World Championships in Hawaii. With most of the triathlon world on pandemic lockdown for the better part of the 2020 season, the Ironman Cairns event was a main focus for top pros in the Asia Pacific region.
