IDEN WINS PTO CHAMPIONSHIP TRIATHLON AT DAYTONA!

MONDAY, DECEMBER 7, 2020 Giant-sponsored triathlete Gustav Iden won the PTO 2020 Championship at Challenge Daytona in Florida, topping a stellar pro field with his Trinity Advanced Pro bike and CADEX WheelSystem to take the $100,000 pro men’s purse at the U.S event. The race featured the top 40 ranked male and female athletes in the Professional Triathletes Organisation (PTO), all competing for a pro purse of more than $1 million. 02 NOVEMBER 2020 Road.cc reviewed the Fleet SLR, claiming the new road saddle from Giant is “comfortable, supportive and priced well against its competitors.” Editors gave it a near perfect 4.5-star ranking (out of 5). 25 OCTOBER 2020 Colombian Leonardo Páez defended his title at the UCI Mountain Bike Marathon World Championship race in Sakarya, Turkey, winning the elite men’s race for the second year in a row to earn the gold medal. Páez, a 38-year-old who rides for the Team Giant-Liv Polimedical team that’s based in Italy, rode his XtC Advanced SL 29 hardtail to the victory on a fast, wide-open 110km course.
