VROUWENVELDER, CARLSON WIN NATIONAL TITLES FOR GIANT!

MONDAY, OCTOBER 24, 2022 The Giant Factory Off-Road Team closed out the 2022 season with two more national championships, collecting big wins in the U.S. and Australia. American Luke Vrouwenvelder won the elite men’s title at the USA Cycling Marathon MTB National Championships, and Josh Carlson defended his title at the E-Enduro National Championship race in Australia. Lisa Tertsch Wins European Triathlon Cup Alanya!

Thursday, October 20, 2022 The final European Triathlon Cup of the year took place over the weekend in Alanya, Turkey. Liv Racing Collective athlete Lisa Tertsch crossed the finish line first for the elite women in the sprint triathlon. Conditions on race day were rainy and cold, but Tertsch emerged out of the choppy waters on the 750m swim in second place. She maintained her position on the 20km bike leg, sticking with the front pack aboard her Langma. IDEN WINS IRONMAN KONA, SMASHES COURSE RECORD!

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 8, 2022 Giant-sponsored triathlete Gustav Iden turned in a historic performance at the 2022 Ironman World Championships in Kona, Hawaii, winning the race in his first-ever attempt. Iden conquered Kona with a stunning time of 7:40:24, shattering German Jan Frodeno’s course record of 7:51:13 by more than 10 minutes. The 26-year-old Norwegian also set a new course record for the marathon, finishing the 26.2-mile run in 2:36:15, becoming the first man ever to average a sub-six-minute-mile pace. Iden’s training partner and fellow Norwegian Kristian Blummenfelt—who came into the race as the defending Ironman World Champion—joined him on the podium,...

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 7, 2022 Giant Factory Off-Road Team rider Josh Carlson wrapped up the EWS E-Series with a strong top-10 finish at the final race of the 2022 E-bike series in Finale Ligure, Italy. TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 27, 2022 Giant Factory Off-Road Team rider Youn Deniaud finished the 2022 Enduro World Series on a high note, winning the Pro stage in Loudonvielle, France, and finishing top-five overall at the season finals. The fifth-place for the two-day race was Deniaud’s top result from this year’s EWS series. Racing a prototype Reign bike on home soil in France, Deniaud kicked off the final round in Loudenvielle with a sizzling run in Saturday’s opening Pro Stage.
