MONDAY, OCTOBER 25, 2021 Stephan Davoust led a dominant showing by the Giant Factory Off-Road Team at the 2021 USA Cycling Marathon Mountain Bike Nationals, winning gold in the elite men’s race. Luke Vrouwenvelder earned silver to complete the impressive one-two finish for the squad in Frederick, Maryland. “I am absolutely beyond myself to be the 2021 marathon national champion,” Davoust said after his win. Saturday, October 16, 2021 The Liv Racing WorldTeam competed in two French one-day races, starting Friday with La Classique Morbihan and followed by Grand Prix du Morbihan Féminin on Saturday. Sofia Bertizzolo unleashed a strong attack with one kilometer to go, securing the win by nine seconds over the peloton. The 115-kilometer route for La Classique Morbihan began in Josselin, taking racers through a hilly course before finishing on a 5-lap circuit. The 24-year-old French rider finished fifth, gaining valuable UCI points and ending his season on a high note. She finished second among the women and eighth overall in the 165-mile gravel race.
