Heavy rain and wind couldn't stop Allysa Seely from winning gold at the World Triathlon Para Series in Swansea, Wales over the weekend. With the risk of the event almost being canceled entirely, a decision made 24 hours before forced the bike portion to be dropped, and the race was revised into an aquathlon format. 29 June 2021 Competing against the United States’ top triathlon hopefuls for the Paralympic Games, Liv Racing Collective athlete Allysa Seely finished second in the PTS2 category on Sunday. Held at Prairie Springs Park in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin, the Americas Paratriathlon Championships drew top-level athletes to compete for a spot on the USA Paralympic team. The race consisted of a 750-meter swim in Lake Andrea, a 20-kilometer bike through Pleasant Prairie and neighboring Kenosha, and a 5-kilometer run finishing in Prairie Springs Park.
