Emma Lombardi Secures Bronze At The World Triathlon Championship Series, Yokohama!

Emma Lombardi finishes third at the World Triathlon Championship Series in Yokohama, Japan securing her first podium result of the WTCS season.

Amidst intense competition at the World Triathlon Championship Series, in Yokohama, Emma Lombardi, secured the bronze medal in the Elite Women's category with a time of 1:53:08, just 40 seconds behind first place.

Lombardi's journey to the podium was marked by several standout moments including being the first to transition into the bike leg, riding on her EnviLiv Advanced Pro. Reflecting on her result Lombardi shared, "It’s a good result and good to be back to an Olympic distance. It allows me to see where I’m at and the things that can be improved. Being the first WTCS race of the season, I'm really happy with my result."

Her podium finish in Yokohama also secures her spot in the upcoming Paris Olympics and is a solid start to what promises to be an exciting season of triathlon racing. Liv Racing Collective athlete Lisa Tertsch also competed, finishing in 14th place, Tertsch shone during the race achieving the fastest run of the day in the women's field.
