Lisa Tertsch Wins World Triathlon Championship Series Abu Dhabi!

Lisa Tertsch kicked off the 2025 season with a win at the World Triathlon Championship Series in Abu Dhabi, overcoming tough conditions to take the top spot.

Liv Racing Collective's Lisa Tertsch started the 2025 season with a victory at the World Triathlon Championship Series in Abu Dhabi. The race at Al Hudayriat Island on February 15th saw Tertsch deliver a strong and consistent performance from start to finish.

Emerging from the swim in a good position, Tertsch kept up her momentum on the bike, powering through the course on her EnviLiv despite challenging conditions. "The conditions were pretty difficult; it was very hot and windy, and crosswinds made the bike particularly challenging!" Tertsch said.

She carried that momentum into the run, finishing strong to secure the win. "I won the race and am really happy to open the season with such a performance. I felt strong and confident in all three disciplines and was able to handle all the challenges the race threw at me, especially on the bike!" she added. "I am so grateful and excited to be able to perform consistently at the world level!"

After a successful 2024 season, which included a win at the World Triathlon Championship Series Weihai and a top-ten finish at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, Tertsch is off to a promising start this year. She now looks ahead to her next challenge at the World Triathlon Championship Series in Yokohama on May 17th.
