Linda Indergand Scores a Podium Finish at Fullgaz XCC!

Liv Factory Racing’s Linda Indergand raced to a third-place finish at the Fullgaz XCC race in Germany Saturday against World Cup heavy-hitters. She followed up the podium finish with a top-10 in the XCO race on Sunday.

Linda Indergand debuted the new Liv Factory Racing colors at the Fullgaz season opener cross country race in Germany over the weekend. The two-day event kicked off with an XCC urban short track race through the town of Krumbach. Indergand stayed in the lead group throughout the race and finished strong for her place on the podium, seconds ahead of reigning World Champion Pauline Ferrand Prevot.

“I battled hard against some of the same women I will race against at the World Cups and earned my first podium of the season,” said Indergand. “I’m really proud of my third place finish.”

The extremely cold weather worsened on Sunday for the XCO (Cross Country Olympic) race which took place in the forest near Obergessertshausen. Athletes struggled with extremely muddy and slippery conditions as the snow fell. Indergand held her own to finish seventh aboard her Pique Advanced Pro 29.

“The difficult conditions mixed with massive amounts of mud meant a huge challenge physically and mentally,” said Indergand. “Although I struggled with the terrain, my legs and bike felt good and I’m looking forward to the next block of big pre-season races in April.”

Indergand’s Liv Factory Racing teammate Sarah Hill and Liv Racing Collective’s Crystal Anthony also had outstanding races on the Pique Advanced Pro over the weekend. Both athletes scored wins, Hill at the Gauteng Province XCO Cup at Grootfontein Country Estates, South Africa and Anthony at the Ouachita Challenge Race in Oden, Arkansas, USA.
