Linda Indergand Wins Swiss Bike Cup Schaan and Overall Title!

The Proffix Swiss Bike Cup series finale took place over the weekend in Schaan. Linda Indergand took the win and secured the overall for the six-race series.

The final race of the Swiss Bike Cup consisted of six laps of 4-kilometer hilly XCO course in Schaan. Coming off a strong win on the urban short track course in Lugano, Linda Indergand (Liv Factory) was ready to tackle her last race of the season. After sharing the lead with Nadine Rieder (Ghost Factory) on the first lap, Indergand made a break on lap two and had pulled a 13-second gap on the rest of the field by the beginning of the third lap. She extended her lead on each lap thereafter before easing back on the final lap to take the win by 40 seconds.

With the victory, Indergand also moved into first place in the Proffix Swiss Bike Cup overall.

“It was a great ending to a great season,” said Indergand.
