Lisa Tertsch Wins Triathlon Bundesliga!

Liv Racing Collective athlete Lisa Tertsch scored a win over the weekend at the sprint-distance Triathlon Bundesliga in Schliersee, Germany.
Set in the Bavarian mountains of Schliersee, the Triathlon Bundesliga course was demanding, with a 750-meter swim, 15.5-kilometer bike, and five-kilometer run. On the bike course, athletes climbed 350 meters in altitude.
Tertsch was with the lead group straight away, exiting the water fourth. Onto the bike, she moved up, heading into the second transition in second. Tertsch moved into the lead on the run, securing the fastest time of her competitors and crossing the finish line in first.
“I am grateful to be able to compete is such a beautiful location; I love the mountains,” said Tertsch. “The key part of this race was a long, steep hill on the bike. At first, the climb felt like going up a wall, but then I got into my rhythm. I was uncertain how the climb would influence the race, so I am happy to have taken the win.”
Next up, Tertsch travels to Pontevedra, Spain for World Triathlon Cup.
