American gravel racer shines in a thrilling sprint finish against hometown favorite Tiffany Cromwell at the 2025 season opener.

Liv Racing Collective's Melisa Rollins delivered an outstanding performance at the RADL GRVL opener in McLaren Vale, finishing a close second to hometown favorite Tiffany Cromwell aboard her Devote Advanced Pro.

Rollins showed determination and skill throughout the 112km course, staying strong in a highly competitive field. In the final stretch, she and Cromwell pulled away from the pack, with Rollins narrowly missing the top spot in an exciting sprint finish.

“I got the group down to three riders: myself, Cassia Boglio, and Samara Sheppard. Then, maybe an hour later, Tiffany Cromwell and Courtney Sherwell caught us, and we were a group of five. It eventually went down to four, and I kept attacking over the top of climbs. It ended up being just Tiff and me with 25k to go, and we came together to the line.”

This impressive result highlights Rollins’ potential as a standout rider in the 2025 gravel season. Her ability to navigate the challenging course and stay competitive in a fast-paced race sets her up for an exciting year ahead.
