Liv Factory Racing athlete Ronja Blöchlinger takes home first place in the U23 XCC Leogang, Austria, continues to showcase the leader’s jersey and earns top points for the overall position.

Ronja Blöchlinger does it again! The Liv Factory Racing athlete continues to reign as the winner of the U23 Cross-country Short Track XCC. At the UCI XC World Cup series in Leogang, Austria, she took home the win on her Pique Advanced Pro with a time of 18:30.

Strategy was the key to success for this race, "Coach Oscar gave her the strategy and race tactics, she stuck to the plan and trusted it would work. At the start she settled in position 5, 4, then 3, always staying within reach each lap. In the second to last lap, at the end of the long climb, she made the move to the front," said Liz Walker - Liv Racing Team Manager.

The course consists of a long grassy climb into berms and dirt tabletops, Blöchlinger, and her team used her descending skillset to their advantage. "As the dominant descender, this plan allowed Ronja to make a bit of a gap that she could work with, and then by pushing hard on the last lap she forced the other riders to chase her in the red zone. She kept the pace and crossed the line first, three seconds ahead of second place," continued Walker.

This win allows Blöchlinger to hold onto the leader's jersey and maintain her overall position after winning gold in the U23 XCC at both Nové Město and Lenzerheide.
