After back-to-back second place finishes and a handful of bonus intermediate sprints to her name, Ruby Roseman-Gannon solidified her the Santos Festival of Cycling overall title by taking the win on the third and final stage.

Ruby Roseman-Gannon wrapped up three consecutive days of strong riding by crossing the finish line first on Tuesday after an impressive lead out by her Team BikeExchange-Jayco teammates. Taking time bonuses at each of the intermediate sprints, as she had done in the first two stages, Roseman-Gannon had added to her overall lead, but was still not content to sit back and play defense. After she crested the Ngangkiparri QOM in second wheel, her teammates moved to the front of the peloton for the final bunch sprint. Roseman-Gannon powered to the line for a convincing victory aboard her Liv Langma Advanced SL Disc.

"I think after the last two second [-place finishes] I was pretty hungry, and my team every day, and especially today have been riding so, so well for me,” said Roseman-Gannon. “There’s a lot of pressure when you have such a high calibre of riders riding for you, so I really felt the pressure today, I was really nervous, but I’m so glad I could finish it off, it’s a dream."

Team BikeExchange-Jayco teammates will race once more at the Santos Festival of Cycling at the Wednesday night criterium, where Roseman-Gannon will get to put on the Australian criterium champion jersey she recently earned.
