After finishing fifth at European Championships in Serbia a week ago, Linda Indergand was once again at the front of a stacked field racing the Proffix Swiss Bike Cup at the Bikefestival Basel.

Liv Factory Racing athlete Linda Indergand continued her strong form in 2021, finishing second at the fifth round of the Proffix Swiss Bike Cup. Celebrated for her Olympic medal prior to the start, Indergand was cheered on by the Swiss crowd in the six-lap race.

“I didn’t have a great start,” said Indergand. “But I was able to quickly close the gap to Laura Stigger and Kate Courtney. Kate flatted, and Laura and I took off before being joined by Bec McConnell. The three of us in the lead worked well together during the very fast race. As usual, my Pique Advanced Pro 29 worked perfectly, and I’m pleased with my form moving into World Championships and the World Cup in Lenzerheide.”

You can catch the action at World Championships in Val di Sole, Italy this week live on RedBull TV. Short Track (XCC) finals will take place on Thursday, August 26 with Cross Country (XCO) finals following on Saturday, August 28.
