Liv Racing Collective athlete Lisa Tertsch has won the German Triathlon Championship title in Berlin, racing in the sprint distance.
The German Triathlon Championship sprint race took place in Berlin over the weekend, with a 750-meter swim, 20-kilometer bike, and 5-kilometer run. Liv Racing Collective’s Lisa Tertsch exited the swim just behind the race leaders and stuck with the lead group of 11 aboard her EnviLiv Advanced Pro Disc. During the run, Tertsch made her move, increasing her pace on the final lap to secure the win.
“I had a lot of racing in the past few weeks and was not sure how this would impact my performance, turns out this kind of preparation produces really good legs,” said Tertsch. “I am very happy with this win; it’s nice to show that I belong to the best in Germany and that I have done good training in the winter.”
Next up, Tertsch will compete at European Championships in Kitzbühl in two weeks.
